what a weekend!

this weekend was one of the best ever. the LJT's Texas Music Festival was one of the coolest things i have ever done.

during the weekend i got to meet any artist or band that was playing. during the shows i was just 5 ft from the band while they were playing in front of 20,000 people. i met one of the coolest musicians ever, Keith Sykes. The festival really just blew my mind. not only did i meet the artists, but i met two of the nicest people, jim and marlene urban. they are the ones who let me experiance the whole thing. most of all, i have to thank sammi for talking me in to going.
i lost my job, but it was well worth it.

i got home yesterday and went to jim's to hang out for a bit and have dinner.

i did just about nothing today.

i need a job.

i need to get my tux.

i need to get car insurance.

what a birthday

i wake up. no happy birthday. no cake. my mom is too tired to give me a ride to school and she lent my truck to her friend. i get to class, first period im fine. second period, its like 50 degrees in the room and im sweating. i go to the nurse and find out i have a 100.4 fever. i go home. my mom now swears that i have pneumonia. she says that in an hour or so, shes taking me to the emergency room and she says they will admit me and stick IVs in me. on top of that, if i get admitted in to the hospital, this means i must cancel my non-refundable trip to hawaii. i payed for it so im out 500 bucks. a card? no. a happy birthday without me saying anything? no. now i just sit and wait. you'd think if you payed $125 for a doctor visit that they would give you medicine that would get you well. ive been on those antibiotics for three days now, and my mom says they arent helping, even though i feel so much better. she says she can "hear" the congestion in my chest. she says cough it out, but i have been coughing till my throat is raw and nothing comes out. i swear the medicine is working, but what do i know, its only my body.

finally

moving sucks. this is the first time i have been on the internet since last saturday. its so crazy here. we didnt even have power fro 3 days. moving in the dark really sucks. we wont have a phone line till the 11th. fun.

buuuuut, i am outta here for spring break on the 10th. seriously, if anyone wants a souvenier(sp) please let me know. ill make a list before i leave.

art contest

yeppers. VASE was this saturday (dont ask me what VASE stands for cause i dont remember). it was very exciting. i entered two pieces, my computer designed stamps and my shadow girl. i didnt expect the stamps to get a 4, but they did. then, i ofund out that my shadow piece made a 4 as well. basically, getting a 4 means that you got into the final judging where they decide if you go to state or not. i dont know if they made it to state as of yet.

guess what. i thought i had gotten over my terrible sickness form the previous week. i was wrong...at least for a couple days. friday in the middle of the day i began to feel that conjested feeling in my chest. i was like "oh shit." sure enough, later that night my fever went crazy and was up to 101*. all day at the art show i felt like crap. i even had my thermometer to check my temperature while i was there, mainly to keep me occupied because i had to wait forever doing nothing. then, later that night, last night, i began to suddenly feel better. i never even took medicine at all for it. today i woke up nearly all healed.

church was excelent as always.

my tennis team did awesome at the tournament on friday. everyone on the team is so cool. they are seriously my favorite people.

still jobless. unemployed. suckage.

last but not least, the best thing ever. the highlight of this year. my truck will be fixed up and running like a charm before school starts up!! hells yeah. i cant wait. seriously.

st. valentine's day

wow. i havent updated in a while. lets see... what all has happened...

well, yesterday i spent the day cleaning my truck. it was actually kinda fun and rewarding. my truck looks hella nice now. except, it doesnt run at the moment. :/ .

i took my ACTs on saturday. boring as expected, but much better than the SATs.

now for today...

there were things that i wanted to get done today that i didnt and things that i wasn't expecting to get done today that i did. i didnt get to ask a certain someone a certain question for no reason whatsoever. overall my valentine's day was pretty happy, even though i didnt receive anything but a small card. heh. other than that, nothing really exciting today. i wish there was, but there wasnt.

umm. i began a very large painting today..? its gonna be cool.

well, looks like im not going to school today. i checked my temperature and it was like 101. i feel like crap and i think my chest is gonna explode. its not cool. so, if anyone feels like texting me or stopping by or calling me feel free. i can already tell how bored i will be. oh well, movie day!
